"If he be Mr Hyde, I shall be Mr Seek", thought Mr. Gabriel John Utterson, the lawyer, when his friend Mr. Richard Enfield let him know about a savage incident that took place one night and the guilty being Mr Edward Hyde. Mr Hyde had gone absconding after another crime was brought to the public's notice, and hence the lawyer decides to go after him. At the same time Mr Utterson's best friend, Dr Henry Jekyll starts withdrawing into solitude every now and then. Matters get murkier over the time. Ultimately, was the criminal been caught? What was the matter with Dr Jekyll? Did Mr Utterson succeed in finding Mr Hyde?

The book is a Gothic thriller, there is good and evil in it, suspicious happenings, mystery, science experiment gone wrong, surprises, uncontrollable temptations, physical transformation, and ultimately a shocking revelation. The book was written in the 19th century. The title of the book itself holds a mystery in it. I found the author's work fascinating, enthralling and was hooked to it, from the beginning till the end.
